Finance Manager

The firm is the creative force behind many of the world’s most innovative and sustainable projects.  Our Asia offices employ 3,000 staff and are engaged in prestigious multi-disciplinary projects covering buildings, infrastructure, transportation, structural, environmental and industrial areas. Currently we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the following position as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the East Asia operations and collaborate with local management to provide insightful financial analysis to support business strategy, commercial initiatives and decision making
• Support the Region’s income, profit and cost review analysis for the responsible South East Asia offices, monitor the project and office financial performances and make recommendations
• Provide commercial advice on bidding and conduct commercial training to project teams
• Lead local finance teams in ensuring compliance with local statutory, tax, company secretarial, treasury and corporate governance requirements
• Assist in ERP financial systems implementation and the migration of finance transactional processes from local offices to the newly created Financial Shared Service Centre
• Participate in ad-hoc projects in business process improvement or re-engineering if necessary
• Some travelling to South East Asia countries
• Assist in ad-hoc assignment as and when required
Qualifications & Experience required:
• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Qualified accountant from professional accounting institutions
• At least 8 years of relevant accounting experience with Big 4 audit firm or multi-national organizations in a regional capacity, with management / supervisory responsibilities
• Solid commercial experience in business trend analysis and track record in performance improvement
• Sound knowledge of internal controls and corporate governance principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with people of diverse cultural background
• Flexible and able to work under pressure and manage deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
