Graduate Energy Engineer

Our Los Angeles Office is currently seeking a Graduate Energy Engineer to join our Energy team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Energy systems analysis on Mechanical systems (HVAC, Lighting, process loads, ect.)
• Assisting senior staff on a variety of projects such as demand side management strategies, analyzing interval data, estimating demand response capacity, and writing demand response audit reports
• Coordinating with multiple disciplines and working in conjunction with project managers to help complete assigned tasks
• Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings
• Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding trends and best practices in energy and mechanical systems for buildings
• Participating in local Professional Associations

The Qualified Professional will have:

• Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering, Masters preferred, minimum 3.0 gpa
• Relevant internship experience preferred
• The ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, manage deadlines and exceptional organization skills required for our rapidly changing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
• Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
