Providing assistance to the regional marketing and communications team in the preparation of marketing, bid documents and internal communications programmes. You will also provide some support to the Sydney office and be part of a community of digital and graphic designers across the region.
 
Your role is key to supporting storytelling for our firm so we’re keen to see how your visual work has been used to convey messages across a range of channels.
 
  • Be responsible for brand management, and the preparation of marketing material consistent with the Arup brand.
  • Must be able to work from concept through to completion
  • Assist the regional M&C team and business with the preparation of marketing communications material.
  • Support Regional leadership in delivering internal communications.
  • Design and production of publications, submissions, marketing collateral
  • Video and photography e.g. CV, Projects, filming internal events, interviews
  • Design of PowerPoint presentations, creating robust templates for marketing/client purposes.
  • Information design e.g. infographics, diagrams, illustration
  • Assist in the collation and coordination of images for the web site, as well as for the project images database
  • Network, and participate (where appropriate) in global network linkups
     
Key Skills:
  • In this role you are going to be speaking to clients through email, face to face and over the phone, we’d like you to be able to do this effectively and professionally.
  • Fluent in Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft office – Word and Excel
  • Fluent in PowerPoint – Template creation, animations and interactivity
  • Strong typographical skills as you will need to take content and explore a more visual approach using imagery, typography, icons and layouts.
  • Multimedia experience eg integration of multiple sources of communication material eg video/audio/print/web.
  • Strong editing capability, particularly with respect to the preparation of promotional materials
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions, consistent with the branding guidelines, to meet client needs.
  • Strong experience in developing marketing focused collateral for businesses
  • Demonstrated experience in, or sound understanding of, working within a corporate branding framework
  • Knowledge of digital/web application programs is desirable
