  • Contributing to team discussions regarding potential new areas of business and innovative ways to provide service to the market
  • Attending project and client meetings supporting more senior staff
  • Engaging fully in Arup’s graduate program
  • Networking with other graduates across our Canadian offices
  • Building external networks of peers
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development in consultation with your team leader
  • Committing to Arup’s induction processes and over time, learning about our broader business including other groups represented in Canada and elsewhere
  • Helping to prepare high quality project deliverables, including print documentation and presentations
  • Participating in the preparation and delivery of effective public presentations (as required) and representing Arup to clients and the general public.
Qualified professionals will have:

  • Emerging project management skills and ability to provide examples
  • Understanding of the nexus between data science and analysis, transport planning principles and urban resiliency

Qualities desired:
  • A desire to be part of a close-knit, fun work environment where team-work and high morale are vital
  • Willing to work closely with other enthusiastic and broadly-skilled team members
  • Collaborative and interdisciplinary outlook
  • Creativity in intellectual and technical approach
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly-motivated and willing to take on new challenges
  • Commitment to building a reputation in the professional community including your own network of contacts
