Senior BIM Designer

Our Seattle Office is currently seeking a 3D-BIM Technician with a focus on mechanical systems to join our BIM team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Mechanical systems modeling & drafting supporting engineering staff on a variety of projects such as offices, airports, hospitals, and higher education facilities.
• Coordinating with multiple disciplines and working in conjunction with project managers to help complete assigned tasks
• Understanding trends and best practices in the use of BIM to model mechanical building systems
• Working with engineering staff to implement automation and add-on tools to improve workflow and efficiency
The Qualified Professional will have:
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in 3-D BIM Fundamentals and Design for mechanical systems, including some experience creating or modifying families and working with parameters. Experience with Revit model setup and management a plus.
• The ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, manage deadlines and exceptional organization skills required for our rapidly changing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
• Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
