We are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead the efforts on the design of a variety of infrastructure projects across Canada. The hired candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and assist with various aspects.



In this role, you will:


•Support the Program Manager in coordinating project deliverables and provide strategic oversight of all aspects of the project.
•Act as the lead for change management and the link between the design delivery and project controls teams.
•Prepare contract package documentation, specifications and particular contract conditions and drawing sets.
•Deliver design and contract documentation to time and budget.
•Coordination the project between design disciplines.
•Monitor project scope, schedule and budget.
•Represent the design team in discussions with the contractor and client.
•Develop and communicate technical instructions and Change Orders between the contractor and the design team.
•Respond to and track contractual correspondence including change notices and change orders.
•Support the Program Manager with preparation of monthly reports as required.
•Assist the Program Manager to review and approve supplier invoices and coordinate payments with finance.



Ideal candidates will have:

•Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. A Master’s Degree is an asset.
•P.Eng designation or eligible for membership with PEO.
•8+ years experience with project management in the consulting services industry and projects $1M+.
•Knowledgeable in design and construction processes and terms. Previous experience preparing and managing construction documents.
•Excellent client service/management, interpersonal, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent computer skills, MSWord, MSExcel and MS Project Management.
•Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
•Self-motivated, energetic and an eager to learn and grow professionally.
•A results-oriented approach with the ability to take responsibility.
•Strong prioritization and time management skills needed to complete tasks within deadlines
