Graduate Architect - Available June 2021

Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Preparing and developing drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
• Producing architectural designs and/or work with other designers to develop designs using relevant architectural software including Revit, Microstation and Autocad and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Rendering skills using variety of 3D modeling software including Rhino, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, and Enscape
• Producing project related correspondence and reports
• Working directly with other professionals with supervision

Qualifications

Required:

• Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) or 5 Year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) (or equivalent)
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Membership as an Intern Architect (OAA is preferred)
• Track record of strong design and creative flair
• Recognized hand sketching and physical modelling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Programming and coding knowledge is a bonus
• Knowledge of Grasshoppers and Dynamo is a bonus
• Knowledge of VR and AR visualization tools is a bonus
• Seek creative and innovative solutions
• Be responsible for high quality work
• Proactively engage with project and respond to project deadlines
• Evidence of past internship or extracurricular activity in the field
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with other colleagues
• Have appetite for self-development and learning
• Be enthusiastic in collaboration
• Have “Total Design” mindset
• Have high level of self-motivation
• Be able to take initiative
• Be receptive to and supportive of change
• Actively listen and show understanding
• Understand the role and deliverables and can self-guide to achieving project goals
• Open to collaboration with other offices globally (virtually and/or in-person)
