Senior Aviation Security Consultant

We're looking fora Senior Aviation Security consultant in our Los Angeles office to work as partof a diverse team engaged in the design of physical and electronic securitysystems for aviation projects with opportunities to additionally supportbuildings and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design physical and electronic security systems including accesscontrol, video surveillance, command & control center and physical securitymeasures (barriers, bollards, fencing)

  • Collaborate with inter-disciplinary technical leaders and NY basedAmericas Aviation Security leader

  • Lead the successful technical and commercial delivery of projects

  • Preparation of drawings detailing the systems designed

  • System design calculations

  • Writing of reports, specifications

  • Day to day financial management of projects

  • Manage RFP and interview process and work with the leadership teamto prepare proposals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10+ years of relevant aviation security experience

  • Sound knowledge and experience with 49CFR1542, TSA CheckpointDesign Guidelines, Recommended Security Guidelines for Airport Planning andDesign and CBP Airport Technical Design Standards

  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals as they relate to buildingsystems and site servicing

  • Excellent interpersonal skills will be needed to develop andmaintain effective relationships with clients, Architects, Engineers,Contractors and other team members

  • Experience across a range of additional project types includinghigh rise commercial, post-secondary education, convention centers,transportation, etc.
